SUMMARY:Public Transport Group Trip to Oswestry
DESCRIPTION:Shrewsbury & West Shropshire CAMRA social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Oswestry. Please note that this is a Friday trip. Members and non-members welcome! \n\n\n\nWe have up to 10 real ale pubs to visit in Oswestry\, including two Good Beer Guide pubs – the Bailey Head (CAMRA’s National Pub of the Year 2024) and the Oak Inn. The Tankard has also recently re-opened with a couple of handpulls apparently\, so that will be worth having a look at. \n\n\n\nTRAVEL INFORMATION \n\n\n\nMeet at Shrewsbury bus station just after 10am\, to get the Arriva X5 bus to Oswestry (usually from Stand G).  \n\n\n\nShrewsbury to Oswestry: \n\n\n\n\n10:15 from Shrewsbury\, arriving at the Bear Hotel stop in Oswestry at 11:12\n\n\n\n\nOswestry to Shrewsbury: \n\n\n\n\n16:41 from opposite the Black Lion\, arriving at Shrewsbury bus station at 17:34\n\n\n\n17:26 from opposite the Black Lion\, arriving at Shrewsbury bus station at 18:19\n\n\n\n\nPUBS \n\n\n\nThe general order of pubs is shown below.
