SUMMARY:Public Transport Group Trip to Bishops Castle & Pontesbury
DESCRIPTION:Social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Bishops Castle and Pontesbury. Members and non-members welcome! \n\n\n\nOutward bus is the 10:05 from Stand N at Shrewsbury bus station. We will arrive at Salop Street Jcn\, Bishops Castle\, at 11:03. The Castle Hotel opens at 11:00\, then on to the Three Tuns and the Six Bells. \n\n\n\nWe will then get the 13:30 bus from opposite the Boar’s Head\, arriving at Pontesbury at 14:03. A short walk down Chapel Street brings us to the Plough which opens at 14:00\, from there we walk to the Nag’s Head. \n\n\n\nThe bus back to Shrewsbury will be the 16:15 from the stop outside the Nag’s Head arriving at Shrewsbury bus station at 16:40. \n\n\n\nIt is recommended to double-check the details on this page a day or so before the trip starts\, just in case any of the arrangements have changed.
