DESCRIPTION:Shrewsbury & West Shropshire CAMRA social and beer scoring trip by minibus from Shrewsbury to Ludlow. Departing at 6:45pm from the bus stop layby on Smithfield Road\, just the other side of the Frankwell footbridge from the Salopian Bar. SUMMARY:Public Transport Group Trip to Whitchurch
DESCRIPTION:Shrewsbury & West Shropshire CAMRA social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Whitchurch. Members and non-members welcome! \n\n\n\nWe have 8 real ale pubs to visit in Whitchurch\, including three current Good Beer Guide entries.  \n\n\n\nThe Crafty Dragon have very kindly agreed to open an hour earlier for us again at 3pm\, meaning that people getting the earlier train or bus back can have a bit more time in there. \n\n\n\nTRAVEL INFORMATION \n\n\n\nMost people will be getting to Whitchurch by train\, leaving a 10 minute walk from Whitchurch railway station into the town. The other option is by bus\, which takes you right into Whitchurch town centre but the journey takes nearly three times as long as the train. \n\n\n\nShrewsbury to Whitchurch by Train:   From platform 7B: \n\n\n\n\n10:19 train\, arriving in Whitchurch at 10:47\n\n\n\n\nShrewsbury to Whitchurch by Bus:    From Stand L at Shrewsbury Bus Station: \n\n\n\n\n 9:45 Arriva 511 bus\, arriving in Whitchurch at 11:12\n\n\n\n 10:45 Arriva 512 bus\, arriving in Whitchurch at 12:03\n\n\n\n\nWhitchurch to Shrewsbury by Train: \n\n\n\n\n16:27 train\, arriving in Shrewsbury at 16:46\n\n\n\n17:41 train\, arriving in Shrewsbury at 18:12\n\n\n\n18:28 train\, arriving in Shrewsbury at 18:49\n\n\n\n\nWhitchurch to Shrewsbury by Bus:    From the Bus Station outside Tesco: \n\n\n\n\n16:32 Arriva 511 bus\, arriving in Shrewsbury at 18:04\n\n\n\n17:57 Arriva 511 bus\, arriving in Shrewsbury at 19:22\n\n\n\n\nPUBS \n\n\n\nWe will start off in the Red Cow at 11am. The last pub will be the Wheatsheaf\, as it is nearest to the railway station.
