SUMMARY:Public Transport Group Trip to Tilley Green and Wem
DESCRIPTION:Shrewsbury & West Shropshire CAMRA social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Tilley Green and Wem. Members and non-members welcome! \n\n\n\nThe Dickin Arms in Wem is still long-term closed\, so we will be going to one pub in Tilley and four in Wem town centre. \n\n\n\n   \n\n\n\nTRAVEL INFORMATION \n\n\n\nThe bus from Shrewsbury is the easiest way to get to Tilley Green. Coming back\, there is the choice of train or bus. \n\n\n\nShrewsbury to Tilley by Bus: \n\n\n\n\n11:45 Arriva 511 bus (usually from from Stand L) in Shrewsbury bus station\, arriving at Tilley Green crossroads at 12:25\, leaving a short walk to the Tilley Raven pub.\n\n\n\n\nTilley to Wem:    \n\n\n\n\nA 10-15 minute walk from the Tilley Raven into Wem town centre.\n\n\n\n\nWem to Shrewsbury by Bus:    \n\n\n\n\n17:11 on the Arriva 511 bus from outside Wem railway station\, arriving at Shrewsbury bus station at 18:04\n\n\n\n18:36 on the Arriva 511 bus from outside Wem railway station\, arriving at Shrewsbury bus station at 19:22\n\n\n\n\nWem to Shrewsbury by Train:    \n\n\n\n\n16:35 arriving in Shrewsbury at 16:46\n\n\n\n17:54 arriving in Shrewsbury at 18:12\n\n\n\n18:36 arriving in Shrewsbury at 18:49\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPUBS \n\n\n\nTilley Raven (opens at 12:00) \n\n\n\nWarbling Tit \n\n\n\nCastle Hotel \n\n\n\nWhite Lion \n\n\n\nHawkestone (opens at 16:00) \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nIf this is your first PTG trip and you don’t know anyone else who is going\, please email the PTG Organiser and we will arrange to look out for you either at Shrewsbury bus station\, or at Tilley Green/Wem. \n\n\n\nHope to see you there. \n\n\n\n   \n\n\n\nFor more information about our Public Transport Group (PTG) trips\, please see the About Our Events page.
