DESCRIPTION:Social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Bishops Castle & Pontesbury. Members and non-members welcome! \n\n\n\nThis month’s PTG trip will on Thursday 21st August to Bishops Castle and Pontesbury by bus. This is going to be a more relaxed trip than normal\, as we only have 2 pubs available to visit in Bishops Castle due to the Three Tuns being temporarily closed. However\, the two open pubs include the Castle Hotel which is a current GBG entry and has one of the best beer gardens in our branch area\, and the Six Bells which normally has a choice of 5 real ales. We will also be calling in at Pontesbury on the way back to visit the Plough and the Nag’s Head\, both decent pubs each with 3 ales on.  \n\n\n\nTravel Information \n\n\n\nWe will meet at Shrewsbury bus station at 10:00\, to get the Bishops Castle bus\, usually from Stand N.
