Public Transport Group Trip to Whitchurch

Social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Whitchurch. Members and non-members welcome!

Outward travel is on the 10:19 train ex Shrewsbury arriving Whitchurch 10:47, return on the 16:29 arriving Shrewsbury 16:50.

For those who would prefer to use their bus passes, the 511 bus leaves the bus station at 09:45 arriving Whitchurch at 11:07. The return bus is at 16:37 arriving in Shrewsbury at 18:04.

First call will be the White Bear open at 11:00  followed by the Black Bear open at 11:30. We would then normally cross to the Cock & Greyhound but apparently it no longer has cask beer.

The route will then be Red Cow, Old Town Hall Vaults, Old Eagles, Bull’s Head. We will then visit the Crafty Dragon, a new venue for our Whitchurch trip. We will then finish at the Wheatsheaf.
