About CAMRA

CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) is an independent, volunteer-led consumer organisation that promotes real ale, cider and perry, and encourages the use of traditional British pubs. It is a not-for-profit organisation with over 200 local branches across the UK. Every branch, including ours, is run entirely by volunteers. Our members are passionate about quality beer and cider, preserving pub heritage, and supporting independent beer and cider producers.

What does CAMRA do?

CAMRA works to promote and protect real ale, cider, and perry as part of our national heritage and culture. This includes campaigning for better beer and cider, supporting local breweries and cider producers, and preserving traditional pubs. We also provide information and resources to help people enjoy these drinks and learn more about them.

Who joins CAMRA?

Anyone with an interest in real ale, cider, or perry can join CAMRA, whether you’re a seasoned drinker or new to the world of traditional drinks. We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and interests, and offer a range of membership options to suit your needs.

CAMRA members are a diverse range of people, including active campaigners, real ale/cider/perry enthusiasts, pub preservationists, and people who just like socialising in pubs with a good pint. Why not join up today and come along to one of our events to say hello.
