Public Transport Group Trip to Whittington, Welsh Frankton, Ellesmere

Social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Whittington, Welsh Frankton and Ellesmere. Members and non-members welcome!

We will be taking the 11:30 Arriva X5 bus from Shrewsbury Bus Station, arriving in Whittington at 12:09. We will be visiting the Olde Boote and the White Lion, which are both open at 12:00.

Then on the 13:41 Lakeside 449 bus, arriving at Welsh Frankton at 13:46. There we will be visiting the Narrowboat, which is open from 12:00.

Departing Welsh Frankton at 14:46 by bus, we will arrive at Ellesmere at 14:53. Pubs available to visit before 16:00 will be the Swan, Red Lion and Market Hotel. After 16:00, the Vaults Micro Bar, Ellesmere Hotel and White Hart will be open. 

The return journey will be on the Lakeside 501 bus at 17:10, which will arrive in Shrewsbury at 17:55.
