Pub of the Year Awards 2025
The winners and runners-up have now been announced in the Shrewsbury & West Shropshire CAMRA Pub of The Year, Cider Pub of the Year, and Club of The Year competitions for 2025. Thanks to the judges and to all the members who nominated pubs and clubs for awards.
The winners of the 2025 competition are:
Branch Pub of The Year, Branch Cider Pub of The Year and Market Town Pub of the Year – The Bailey Head, Oswestry, currently also CAMRA’s National Pub of the Year for 2024.
Rural Pub of The Year and second in Branch Pub of the Year – the Apple Tree Onibury
Shrewsbury Pub of The Year and third in Branch Pub of The Year – The Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury
Club of The Year – Prees Sports and Social Club
Presentations to the Pub winners have been scheduled. Photos of the award presentations will be posted on the Pub of the Year page and our Facebook page as they become available.
Just to get into the finals of these competitions is a colossal achievement as we have 240 open real ale venues in our Branch (more than in the whole of Birmingham), so massive congratulations to all our winners, and to those in second and third places, listed below:
