Pub of the Year Awards 2026
The winners and runners-up have now been announced in the Shrewsbury & West Shropshire CAMRA Pub of The Year, Cider Pub of the Year, and Club of The Year competitions for 2026. Thanks to the judges and to all the Branch members who nominated pubs and clubs for awards.
We have around 240 real ale venues in our Branch area, so to come in the top three in the relevant category is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to all our winners and to those hot on their tails in second and third places!
The winners of the 2026 competition are:
Market Town Pub of The Year – Crafty Dragon, Whitchurch
Rural Pub of The Year (also third in Branch Pub of the Year) – Apple Tree, Onibury
Cider Pub of The Year – Admiral Benbow, Shrewsbury
Club of The Year – Prees Sports and Social Club
Presentations to the Pub winners are being scheduled. Photos of the award presentations will be posted on the Pub of the Year page and our Facebook page as they become available.
