Public Transport Group Trip to Bishops Castle & Pontesbury

Social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Bishops Castle and Pontesbury. Members and non-members welcome!

Outward bus is the 10:05 from Stand N at Shrewsbury bus station. We will arrive at Salop Street Jcn, Bishops Castle, at 11:03. The Castle Hotel opens at 11:00, then on to the Three Tuns and the Six Bells.

We will then get the 13:30 bus from opposite the Boar’s Head, arriving at Pontesbury at 14:03. A short walk down Chapel Street brings us to the Plough which opens at 14:00, from there we walk to the Nag’s Head.

The bus back to Shrewsbury will be the 16:15 from the stop outside the Nag’s Head arriving at Shrewsbury bus station at 16:40.
