Public Transport Group Trip to Ludlow

Social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Ludlow. Note this trip has been moved from the 14th December. Members and non-members welcome!

Outward train 10:40 from Shrewsbury arrives Ludlow 11:09. For those who prefer to use their bus pass, the 09:55 435 from Shrewsbury bus station gets to Ludlow railway station at 11:10.

Suggested return trains to enable onward bus connections from Shrewsbury are 16:19, which arrives in Shrewsbury at 16:48, or 16:52 arrives 17:24. The 15:55 bus from outside the Compasses arrives in Shrewsbury at 17:11.

First port of call the Railway Shed (Ludlow Brewery bar). For those who don’t know, there is an extra pub to visit following the re-opening of the George in the market place. For those who want to stay later, the Blood Bay and the Dog Hangs Well open at 17:00.
