Public Transport Group Trip to Tilley Green and Wem

Shrewsbury & West Shropshire CAMRA social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Tilley Green and Wem. Members and non-members welcome!

The Dickin Arms in Wem is still long-term closed, so we will be going to one pub in Tilley and four in Wem town centre.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

The bus from Shrewsbury is the easiest way to get to Tilley Green. Coming back, there is the choice of train or bus.

Shrewsbury to Tilley by Bus:

• 11:45 Arriva 511 bus (usually from from Stand L) in Shrewsbury bus station, arriving at Tilley Green crossroads at 12:25, leaving a short walk to the Tilley Raven pub.

Tilley to Wem:   

• A 10-15 minute walk from the Tilley Raven into Wem town centre.

Wem to Shrewsbury by Bus:   

• 17:11 on the Arriva 511 bus from outside Wem railway station, arriving at Shrewsbury bus station at 18:04
• 18:36 on the Arriva 511 bus from outside Wem railway station, arriving at Shrewsbury bus station at 19:22

Wem to Shrewsbury by Train:   

• 16:35 arriving in Shrewsbury at 16:46
• 17:54 arriving in Shrewsbury at 18:12
• 18:36 arriving in Shrewsbury at 18:49
