After being closed for at least a year and a half, the Wheatsheaf on Green End in Whitchurch has re-opened on the 28th January. It is now being run by Gaz and Caz who have been running the Old Town Hall Vaults for the last few years.

They currently have four ales on: Oakham Citra, Wye Valley HPA, Landlord and Old Speckled Hen. There is no plan to have any regular ales on at the moment, so there will be four changing beers for the foreseeable future.

Once the kitchen is up and running, food will be served daily, and the pub will start offering B&B rooms as soon as possible.
