The Swan at Marbury, just outside Whitchurch, is having a beer and cider festival from 5pm on Thursday 5th September until late on Sunday 8th. There will be a BBQ, music and a Meet the Brewer. £3 entry, £15 per night for camping. There will be a taxi shuttle service from Whitchurch, Wrenbury and Malpas for £5 per person per journey. Two day real ale festival at Crewe Heritage Centre. Prices for advance tickets are held at last year's prices (£15 total = £3 entry, £2 glass deposit, £10 tokens).
Social and beer scoring trip by minibus from Shrewsbury to the "Inner Loop" – Uckington, Uffington, etc. This is a Saturday daytime trip, departing from Salopian Bar at 11:30am.
