Beer scoring and social trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to the Strettons. Departing at 10:55 on Minsterley Motors bus from Stand N at Shrewsbury bus station. All welcome. Itinerary: First stop the Green Dragon, opens 11:30, at Little Stretton and then walk on to the Ragleth. Next, 12:50 bus to Church Stretton arriving 12:55. Two pubs to visit, Kings Arms and Bucks Head. The former Catch, now No. 46, is a cafe until 16:00 but they have very kindly agreed to open the bar early for us. Then on to the Yew Tree at All Stretton on the 14:30 bus. Next the 15:35 to Bayston Hill arriving 15:59. The Three Fishes is open all day and the Compasses opens at 16:00. The 435 leaves at 16:59 and arrives at the bus station at 17:11. |
