  • Public Transport Group Trip to Oswestry

    Trip starts at Shrewsbury Bus Station Raven Meadows, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, United Kingdom

    Shrewsbury & West Shropshire CAMRA social and beer scoring trip by public transport from Shrewsbury to Oswestry. Please note that this is a Friday trip. Members and non-members welcome! This month’s PTG trip will be on Friday 17th October to Oswestry by bus. We have up to 10 pubs to visit in Oswestry including the Bailey Head, CAMRA’s Pub of the Year, and two other Good Beer Guide entries - the Oak Inn and the Bell.  The suggested order of pubs is shown below.     Shrewsbury & West Shropshire CAMRA festival washup meeting at 7:15pm in the Prince of Wales in Shrewsbury. The purpose of the meeting is to have a debrief of September's Shrewsbury Beer Festival. Anyone with an interest in how the festival went, or anyone with any feedback about the festival, is welcome to attend.
